Rens de Groot

Rens de Groot started his banking career at Rabobank Utrecht as a credit analyst in 2006. After just one year, he made the switch to ABN AMRO Global Markets department, located in the largest dealing room in Europe on the Amsterdam Zuid-As. After working as a Treasury Adviser for a few years, he became respectively Head of the Regional Treasury Desk Amsterdam and shortly afterwards Head of Commercial Banking Treasury Sales NL. In a next step, he was named the Global Head of FX Sales within Global Markets. At the same time, he was also head of the COSB street within the Reassessment Interest Rate Derivatives project, where the final calculations and adjustments on the derivatives were made. In 2019 he switched to Franx BV, a 100% subsidiary of ABN AMRO. Franx is a Fintech active in the field of FX and International payments. Rens is responsible for all customer-oriented activities within Franx as Chief Commercial Officer.
